ACCESS ADVENTURE VOLUNTEER
Robert Boardman
Born in Sepulveda, CA, and raised in Northridge, CA. Youngest child and only boy of four. My parents were
horse people and I was raised around livestock. I was riding and showing horses to the age of eight. At age ten through
seventeen, I was actively involved in 4-H, raising and showing market beef, sheep and swine. I owned and rode trail horses
through early adulthood.
Married in 1990 to my wonderful life partner and soul mate Randie. We have two wonderful sons, Dallas and
Christopher. We moved to Northern California in 1995. I am an elevator mechanic by trade and have been since 1987. Before
elevators, I was a computer technician in the music industry.
I began volunteering for Access Adventure in early 2006, learning to drive and team hitches.
